The problem is that given the lady he killed existed for just 1 chapter before that, we as readers would never be able to FEEL the weight of it. Do you really honestly GET why the family heads should be mad/sad/feeling betrayed? I honestly don't.

I keep saying this, but this is the problem SIU is doing, his over expansive universe means we really won't get to feel anything about any of the story because it will all be dealt with in a shallow manner. He has sacrificed depth for breadth to an unmanageable extent.

That’s not entirely true, SIU utilized: repetition, the engagement party and other GW interactions within the flashback to create depth. No, it’s not as drawn out as Neji’s death in Naruto manga, however readers can easily determine Amuez was an important person to the GW climb.

An expansive universe trumps depth for me and I’m sure Amuez will be mentioned again as the story progresses, further cementing her importance during and after the climb.

Gustang questions Enkidu if it wasn't really him who killed Amez but Traum. Enkidu doesn't respond and falls asleep for a brief moment. Even after waking up he couldn't speak human language (that's wierd since he talked to Gustang when Rachel freed him). Because of their anger other FHs wanted to kill Enkidu as soon as possible but Gustang opposed and decided to seal him and ever since he hasn't asked Traum about Enkidu. After that day FHs believed Enkidu's words that V was behind that incident and became completely opposed to him and his forces. As a person who records history Gustang was troubled, since the truth of what happened disappeared with Enkidu. Now he was facing his former colleagues as enemies and couldn't turn Traum into an enemy only by believing in Enkidu's words. By uncovering the truth, Traum's guilt would be revealed. Nothing would get any better. Gustang was torn between the pain of having to record the true history and the sense of responsibility to create the best history. In the end he chose to run away from it all (forget). FHs each forgot about the incident through their own way. They have forgotten what is causing this sadness and anger within them. After that, many false histories were recorded. Gustang had no choice but to hide the truth in places even he hasn't remembered.

Enkidu learns from Bellerir what had happened in the world until he was freed. He's fascinated to share one body and a goal with someone born eons after him. Bellerir says he was looking for Enkidu but didn't know it would turn out like this. Enkidu asks if those unlucky guys (FHs) became the heads of families, B confirms saying they became divine being within the tower that bugs like him can't even look at them. Nowadays, the number of direct children alone is enormous and very few people have seen their (FHs') faces in person. Enkidu marvels they succeeded, doesn't know if he should feel annoyed that they got their way or if it's a good thing for them to still be alive until now since he can get revenge on them. B told E there's a battle outside now, that there are some guys who want to be the new 10 heads. They want to join hands with Enkidu against the 10 FHs. E thinks he awoke to interesting times.

Androssi thinks to herself that hiding like this doesn't suit her but she has to since she has the King piece and if captured it's almost game over. Frog says "friend of the irregular". Frog asks what piece Androssi has, mentioning each piece in turn and notices her reaction after saying "King". Traum says "the frog's insight responded" and knows Androssi has the king. He orders Holan to capture the piece even if it means killing her. She avoids both Holan and frog and teleports in front of Traum. Bong Bong doesn't activate again because Cobalt is "jamming" it. Holan says he won't kill her if she doesn't resist, he only needs her chess piece.

Gustang tells Dumas to look after Baam and not touch chess pieces. He will go meet Traum and kill him.

the title of the chapter says "the resolution to kill" or "determination to kill", but this word "죽일" means "guilty destined to die" and this word "결심" means judgment, so the alternate title would be "death sentence", what would be correct for the chapter.

You'd probably want it the other way. If Urek is the last to arrive, then he's the one 'saving the day' (and getting his way).

I don't consider him (or Tiara, who existed by the same mechanic) to be fundamentally different from a direct descendant. Enkidu even said outright that whatever Tiara's power was, it was only just a pale imitation of Gustang's in the end.

You could make the argument that the FH did the dirty work by conquering 134 floors, but taking a floor is not a pre-requisite to moving up since irregulars can take the test with an Administrator and head straight up.

Seems like they made a lot work for themselves.

He wasn't. Urek was so overpowered that the Hidden Floor couldn't even properly emulate him, and was only able to create a heavily nerfed, glitched version of him. The sight of it make the real Urek so angry that he trashed the mirror on his way out.

Urek was already very strong when he entered. He didn't need Revolution, was stronger than Thor. It's because of his strength that his Nemesis(that's not even him) was bugged.

You'd probably want it the other way. If Urek is the last to arrive, then he's the one 'saving the day' (and getting his way).

I think Urek will deal with Revolution while Luslec's appearance there will allow us to learn more about Icarus. This flashback wasn't about her at all.

I was thinking that Gustang would save Androssi, but he isn't allowed to since he is the FH. Then again, Traumerei used his Shinheuhs to support Hollan in this chapter. It shouldn't be allowed, should it?

It’s weird how Gustang is playing victim here making it sound like the Amez incident was his 1st false account of history. Icarus’ story predates the Amez incident, it took place during the climb and was wiped from history!
