What in the fuck are you spouting LOL, the mountain arc didn't coincide with the anime being promoted, that arc ended in 2016 and the anime didn't even get announced until late 2018 and aired in april 2019, the manga was already in the infinity fortress arc by that point. Are you trying to imply the readers went back in time to vote for the series years before the anime aired or something? Seriously, at least check the dates before typing this stuff up, it gave me an aneurysm just reading it.

The sales were decent (the only series that sold better than it in WSJ by the time the arc started were OP/tpn/mha/HQ/bcn a whopping 5 out of 19), the rankings were great, it was in a very solid spot within the magazine and very far from being in danger, if you think otherwise I suggest not trying to pass it off as anything but your headcanon.

And since you seem confused, rankings and sales are two different things. KnY was a top3 ranker in the toc in 2018.

But you would still be wrong, it doesn't change much of my point at all. The sales were decent and its rankings within the magazine were among the best (and you somehow assumed that my "ranking" meant sales when I was obviously referring to ToC positions; but even in sales, again, the magazine only had 6 series selling better than it and all of them bar TPN already had an anime, it wasn't exactly a bottom seller).

There is absolutely no reason to believe the series got rushed to its end, the series was sitting in the front of the magazine almost the whole time in 2018 and getting an anime soon, it was very visibly in a solid position and not in any danger whatsoever. Anything else is your headcanon.

Reading this chapter while hearing the full version of the anime ending makes it way better. Aww, that was such a sweet and cute chapter, but at the same time also a sad one when you think about everything that was lost. This was a great journey, I had a lot of fun reading this series despite the little time I was in compared to some of the people here. Really interested to see what type of closure Gotouge will give in the next chapter.

Probably in the next they will show us the descendants of the protagonists, or they will briefly show their future lives (since we move from the Taisho era that covers the 10 and 20 years of the twentieth century to a modern one, we will probably see either Tanjiro or Nezuko elderly and we will see if the first like Yorichi managed to break the mark's curse)

Kanao, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko should live long or normal. They are not bound by the mark

I think Tanjiro will overcome the mark and live long lufe

Giyu and Sanemi I heard mark dissapear from them. I think lifespan is back to normal

If this taisho era if timeskip is only about 40 to 50

I think original cast should still be alive though most of them are dead by old age

as long it isn t 90 years to future which I think everyone is definetly dead except for Yushiro

We can still see some main cast next chapter

It was Saburo, the old man in the first chapter/episode of Kimetsu who let Tanjiro sleep over at his place when it was getting dark in the mountains, and talked to him about demons.

This is the best sort of conclusion. Wraps up everything nicely and has a ton of great emotional beats.

This has been a well earned victory for these characters.

Oh, so this wasn't the final chapter? I am almost surprised, this chapter would have been a fine ending. If we are going to the modern era... I gotta wonder if any characters are going to be alive now, since most of them would be 120 years old by now, at least. I suppose only yushiro should be alive given the circumstances. I don't really expect the manga to continue though it'd be interesting if we see reincarnated characters.

A THE END or Conclusion would have been perfect for this chapter..Interested in what goodies the next chapter holds. Overall Demon Slayer isnt a bad manga. It definitely trips up in its final arc,with Muzan just being down right boring and back story falling hell of flat.
