Was playing it just now but my Switch discharged :XD

Pretty fun so far. I love the French voice for Impa. Sounds similar to Zelda but I haven't checked if it's the same.

Didn't take time to explore all the options while fighting but I'll take it slowly once I complete it.

I love how archery is in this game! :wtf

Played two missions. Pretty cool, pretty cool. Not my fav mechanics, but still quite fun for now. Loved to play as Zelda.

Did you also play Botw in French? I find myself always choosing English in games, but I think I heard somewhere the speedrunners all use German because the dialog is slightly shorter.

So I watched the intro and played maybe 2 minutes, and I'm loving it being back in Hyrule castle :zomg

Yes I played BOTW in French. I don't always choose French in games, but the French dub for BOTW is very good.

Welp, have been playing the new hyrule warriors demo. The game is fun, it's basically a musou that incorporates more elements from BOTW in terms of combat. The world map where you select missions and upgrades I am a tad iffy about but its a minor thing at worst.

While that's epic and all, after the demo I'm starting to think I'll just watch a playthorough. I want all the lore and cutscenes, but I simply don't like Musou games. I bore quickly of hacking and slashing.

I haven't completed the game yet but apparently

it's an alternate timeline where everyone survives. Not sure I like this, but TBH I was wary when the story started with time travel. It kinda feels like fanservice now...

Anyway, I really hope BOTW 2 will be in the same timeline as the original.

Yes I do. But the main appeal to me was the lore, that "twist" is kinda annoying.

I would too! I think BotW was just so impactful and changed the fandom too.

I keep seeing it as Zelda Skyrim with no rpg so it's been very low on my "to play" list, so that's great to hear.

Crackpot BoTW/AoC theory: What if princess zelda isn't THE princess zelda. In the games she struggles with activating her powers and ultimately does so in extreme circumstances. But... weirdly when she uses her powers the triforce comes up. We know from the games and just the overall lore that hyrulean princesses are usually named zelda. But zelda is general is a specific person who gets reincarnated apparently over and over with her powers. So perhaps in this generation the actual zelda was the queen who died rather than the young princess. Thus leaving her to train hopelessly... And only activating sealing powers when accidentally wishing for them on the triforce.

I so hoped we could get some sneak peaks on yesternights Direct, but no. But Skyward Sword HD is still nice! I haven't played the game yet either. Those new joy-cons look gorgeous. With the drifting problems and all I decided that I wouldn't by any new joy-cons ever again, but I just might need to make an exception.

Meh skyward sword just an HD not a full remake. I think it looks quite clunky and would need it.
