There are days when nothing is as it used to be.
Today is such a day.
At 10:30 local time, something occured in Kyoto which shook us to the very core and hurt us all deeply.
An attack on an institution that brought joy to not only us, but many across Japan and the rest of the world.
A company, which encouraged us to sing along.
Employees who made us cry so much that even onions turned green with envy.
But we're not the only ones who have a special place in our hearts for the works of this company, many lost something today.
Many families were destroyed today and have lost a loved one.
Lost to hatred, anger and wrath.
Things that Kyoto Animation are strongly opposed to.
A studio that is known for its employee-friendly climate like no other in the industry.
A studio that has given so, so much to us, who love this culture like nothing else.
Today is truly a devastating day for our entire subculture and for Japan as a whole.
Though in this moment dark clouds are passing over us and we lose ourselves to our tears, I am - no - we are sure, Kyoto Animation will come back stronger than ever.
Hate and resentment will never be able to divide that which binds us together so strongly.
The love for Anime, Manga, Light Novels and all media.
