Leaning more towards Astro Royale as the one I want to stay over Necromance, mainly the emotions are stronger between brothers than the age gap dad friend. Though Necromance just needs to get a bit larger scale

For Astro ch3 it is better than ch2 but pales in comparison to ch1. Many JP readers are saying it is clean and easy to read, but there are no atrention grabbing characters yet. Some are praising it for being quintessential Jump, others say it will be cancelled as it is too generic. Mixed to decent reception.

I agree with the criticism for Astro. I know it generic but the manga need a hot head type character

Reading this week's chapters, I think MHA is gonna end this round, but I also don't think GGG is gonna make it past this round either, the pacing has gone up very noticeably and it feels like it's rushing towards something. And obviously Dear Anemone's as good as gone already, so I'm going to guess the next round is gonna have three new series.

Narita knows what's good and that both GGG and Nue being at the bottom is bs, specially GGG never even leaving the bottom, one can hope the release of first volume brings some extra attention to the manga, should have a Nakaba recommendation at least.

To be totally honest, this looks like a one shot i would see on WSJ during the 00's era, both character designs and theme, it may works as a one shot but will absolutely not in a serialization, personally i still prefer the duo to try with the baseball one shot, this one looks just like Phantom Seer 2.0 but way less interesting.

Nue has been pretty good since the new arc started, the moments with Suo-senpai has been so cute, and kinda has that "ero" vibe that you would see in harem light novel series, i swear, if Kawae went with something like Shinmai Maou no Testament ou Masou Gakuen HxH where the girls get power up through getting more intimate with the mc (ofc within the ecchi limitations of WSJ) that would be amazing, the end of this chapter would be a perfect set up for it

Okay, I get it. I said something similar. But until there is a translation of the one-shot, I can’t fully give my full thoughts unless otherwise. I do agree about the baseball one-shot. But if Goto has learned their lesson, I hate for them to make the similar missteps like last time with Phantom Seer.

Nice to see Nue volume 4 advertised big in the promotional page for May releases, a bit surprised by Kagurabachi not being there too, but a nice surprise seeing GGG volume getting some advertising love

Good news but i really hope they come up with something interesting and outside the basic, please, not yet another exorcist/supernatural series (sorry Shark lol)

the authors have to manage to exploit what is trendy at the moment and do different things with it, exorcists were no longer fashionable at the end of 2000 beginning of 2010, and it came back and I think it will come back but we feel that the Japanese ate too much and so did we. In recent years, adventure has become trendy again, with everything mafia/underworld/assassin/spy. you have to offer interesting things with it, Frieren did it very well, Sakamoto Days, SPYxFAMILY also did it very well by being very different.
