I guess people are hoping for a Red concept song for Summer, but who even knows if the Red vs Velvet thing will even exist when it's just a subunit.

I actually don't know honestly. I'd say Seulgi is definitely the best dancer in the group though. But RV always stood out to me as having really memorable point choreography, but not really being amazing from a technical standpoint, other than Seulgi maybe. That could be the fault of the choreography though, not really being demanding or showcasing them as dancers compared to other groups.

No I meant, if Wendy never got hurt would this subunit be happening right now. Like they decided to do some solo and subunit stuff since Wendy still isn't able to perform.

Most groups end up doing subunit and solo stuff at some point, but given how small of a group RV is and SM treating them like a "secondary" group compared to their boy groups, I just wonder if this would have happened now otherwise.

The EP is out and it sounded pretty good. For some reason the MV didn't come out when it was scheduled, they changed it to 2 hours later, and now there's no time listed at all. Good job SM.

The MV is out by the way.
I'm honestly impressed by Irene's vocals, overall like the song a lot - kind of expected they would have gone with something like Automatic more, but this suits these two well.
(Can't help but feel this would have been a good song for the Red Velvet as 5 though)

And yeah I agree xi0, this subunit would not have happened if it weren't for Wendy's injuries. It's good that they are keeping the girls busy, rather than waiting for her recovery (As I'm pretty sure it will take awhile before she's able to perform again).
Though wasn't Joy already starring in drama's before the accident happened? Feels like they are just continuing with that path for her, rather than giving her something extra to do.
