I must confess I absolutely love them. Specially episode 115, where Atobe keeps blowing up everything with bombs.

They were among my favorites, PoT filler is the only filler i could tolerate.

I liked that one..it was "a baseball game filled with men" right?

There was one with the tenipuri family where Chibi Akaya runs around in a devil costume, Sanada is tending to Yukimura like he's an old man..really funny and random.

I also like the one where Akutsu's a detective.

Tezuka with the Tezuka Zooone while he was taking care of the plants with Fuji (they were the garndparents of TeniPuri family) was absolutely great, I dont remeber the chapter

The one where Inui makes a drink and makes players hot blooded...

The one where Seigaku plays rikkai and inui and yanagi using their crazy data...and spends all day talking.

The situation by Inui of how Seigaku regulars would react if they get a love letter in the locker (Fuji opens his eyes lol and tezuka's glasses flash...kawamura goes into burning mode...)

Where Yukimura is drawing Sanada with his poses, and Kirihara sees him, so Sanada stops helping Yuki. but Kiri gets Niou to pretend to be Sanada and makes lots of embarassing pictures.

My favorite one was when Mizuki was trying to destroy the world and they all had their special moves turned into real special moves.

They were among my favorites, PoT filler is the only filler i could tolerate.

What about DBZ?! Didn't you like watching Goku and Piccolo learn how to drive?!

The rare exception..i hated all other DBZ filler.

I also liked the USA team arc Ryoma's match with kevin was hilarious..seeing ryoma in that weird position for the cyclone smash covered in gold

Hahaha that was indeed hilarious. But the Atobe+Sanada and Atobe vs Sanada matches weren't that bad. I actually enjoyed them. Though Sanada's power ranger showdown in the air was a bit over the top.

That wasn;t power rangers that was straight DBZ..I can't believe they expected us to believe people can ralley from that distance and that angle lol.

And it's funny that the only time the words "Muga No Kyouchi" were uttered in the anime was during filler

Yea, basically Kevin did Muga..and Sanada actually said Muga no Kyouchi. I'm like..wait a minute wtf? Ryoma gets some weird gold shit called Samurai eye..and filler boy gets MnK?

It's fun to watch the characters little nuances get exaggerated.

It's fun to watch the characters little nuances get exaggerated.

Haha I like how in the fillers, everyone gains supreme techniques that are forgotten within the span of ten episodes.

Super great momoshiro especial...The Hadokyuu boomerang. Oh god the hadokyuu boomerang...I hated that.

In addition to other things in filler that pissed me off:

-Tezuka playing right handed and barely beating Ryoma..
-Boxing SENGOKU!!!!
-Golf Swing
-Invisible Serve
-Ryoma skips the JR USO and plays with the adults..ousting Lleyton fucking Hewitt? at age 12?
-Fuji can use knuckle serve? righhht...
-Kevin Smith comes up to Akutsu on the street and beats him?

Boxing Sengoku...Oh god. That hurt a lot.
Golf swing...Damn you Atobe for making me remember that! And for consequently making me remember that they made Niou look like a loser in the anime. Wtf, he and Yagyuu are about even in the manga, and the anime made it seem as if he was much much weaker than him. And they didn't switch places.

And Ryoma beating Hewitt...Urgh.
And Ryoma vs guy from rokkaku whose name I forgot. It started with Ao, I guess.
Damn, that match was boring as hell. Seriously, they made a perfectly fine match(Kaidoh vs him) into an atrocious show of...something.

Oh, and Kirihara becoming good. And the cowboy shot from the US guy. Oh god the cowboy shot...

Oh sure go ahead, I think that's going to make the title more clear.
Oh God Kachiro vs Arai...And Arai almost losing. I mean, WHAT?
-The american Momoshiro and the american Kaidoh...
-Ryoma getting invited to the US Open, period.
-The deus ex machina that let Echizen play because Kirihara injuried his shoulder. I mean...um...what?
-Eps 136-138 Damn it writers, do you know how many Kirihara/Ann shippers you created with that?
-For that matter, the Tango thing made Sanada and Atobe look a little...close to each other. Though it was kinda cool.
-When they went to Germany and Ryoma BEAT A FREAKING PRO.
...But again, that's nitpicking. He also beat Hewitt.

Beating a pro isn't too bad..he's been playing up (I.e playing out of your age group) since he was a kid and since the series started, Sampras did the same thing.

Nanjiroh kind of showed how PoT characters compared to normal players.

Well he didn't beat a pro, im saying he played up, when pete was 12 he was playing 16 year olds like Ryoma.

I wish i had a place to watch the anime in good quality, there was a great site with the entire series but it was hacked.

One thing I love about the ovas is how they try as hard as possible to pretend the anime didn't exist. Niou's personality became the same as his manga counterpart, the hadokyu boomerang was obliterated from existence, and Ryoma's cyclone smash mysteriously disappeared.

I do however still hope Ryoga comes into the manga. He's a nice character...How old is he again? Any chance of him still being in high school?

And I love how despite being adopted he looks exactly like Ryoma.

I think it would be a great story if Ryoga was a senior in high school and the number 1 spot on team Japan. He would have to get a super buff though since Ryoma beat him in the movie. Oh yeah. Talk about crazy fillers. Let's play on a boat while it's sinking! YA!
