Don't worry taku, I don't hold any grudges I just want to lynch you next game for satisfaction/memes sake (and for almost giving me a heart attack and then depressed....I was just too emotionally attached to this mafia game considering it was my first and my fav game theme that I sometimes question why did I like it when the writing is bad but come back to fangirl about it every time I see the characters and anything related)

First of all thanks everyone for playing the game, hope all of you enjoyed despite some drama that happened

And especially thanks to @Elusia and @Vandred for helping host this game, don't think it will have made it far without both of them

So where do i begin, well obviously the most thing that I want to talk about is @Takuan killing off Gryffindor N1, what are the odds that in a 26 game he hit the lover, randomly mind I add without any reason to kill him.
That night was such an emotional roller coaster for the fact that gryff been repeatedly saved but killed again in different times, first with taku killing him without using power then DD causing orgz to change target to taku but then crescent decide to block her hoe partner, now all that I had hope for was Gryffindor coming and saving himself using guardians AND HE DID like 3 mins before the game begin, finished everything up to start to day then I say in hostpad: "going to start the day guys"
....
Then vand come up be like:" wait, taku used power now"
me:

Game end up getting delayed a half an hour just to decide if we count or not count the after the time action

And that's why I'm going to lynch you next game taku (save me a spot with you @Lambu ) not for the fact you killed gryff and causing most of testing roles to have no meaning plus my most waited role (I should then be angry at all orange and crescent then ) but for not sending power at first and giving me all that emotional roller coaster to end up using it after the time.

Plus the realisation that you kinda broke the balance way to early with town now becoming so op, didn't help that orange only kill was gryff and then not kill anyone(WTF?) Making juviii basically the only killer scrum....a town (desin) did more work for scrums then orange suppose to do to win

Town this game honestly played awesome especially for the fact there's no det, and the mini det died early (still confirming two people pompom and gry ) till they reached D5 and later were it was hilariously awesome about all the theorizes town made.

Mafia this game memed themself hard especially orange, they were basically town neighborhood or sth or mafia traitor.
While red played better especially juviii with not using janitor to kill and also observing enough to know that desin was doc and kill him to get that sweet sweet special info for get teammate and her.
Still I'm not happy that no mafia used their special especially for the fact that it was op and the sacrifice was little compare to town.
I mean look at the strongman special ability and how op it was, basically mass genocide if used on the right target (the best one was hitting BK) but I guess I can understand the fact of not knowing when to die, still such a same.

Haku this game basically took the win for his team and all scrums with not blocking or killing making it practically impossible for them to win, such a shame...

Tux and daws were basically the best people who used their special ability right (and to think their role gave us trouble to come up with sth good for them with VT especially jesus more than freeman, in the end he ended the game )

As for the setup:
It was simple, because town had no det to confirm themself we putted 3 roles that can confirm themself, two of them could or could not kill themself or kill a town, basically a somewhat wild card (and I liked the fact that it's unpredictable but can be reused if lucky to survive more )
There was also the recruiter to confirm town but he ended up dying too early.
The recruiter was basically the wild card of the game depending on the player, at first he could think he naive so he be playing town lover but with time he release he real red traitor, so he could want to join them, know that he can't recruited one of the members of red that are in his list, he just cause his death so he need to pray that red kill them before orange kill them or red/orange kill SK

Recruiter was also good for mafias considering the fact that town were somewhat powerful, he could take roles useful or not at the cost of confirming that person to town so could help in someways mafias depend if the person believe he real or not.
And that's where super masons comes in, to keep the most useful roles of town in finding mafias for the mason and play as a group.(plus couldn't want mason having roles beside confirming town and suspecting )
Sad it didn't get to really get tested

That one starting mason was there to keep monitoring the recruiter especially if he gets recruited considering if he does he lose his ability to recruit anyone, so he have to come up with excuses to why that, and if recruiter decide to take useful roles the starter mason is there.
Mafia doctor in the other hand despite not being an approved role but neutral we added him in fears that the recruiter could foolishly list his mafia traitor list to SK ending up causing their demise, it all depend on the recruiter decision and we didn't want to risk red having no chance because of recruiter doing (plus vand said it's ok to add it)

As for why there was a lover Traitor with a SK I simply wanted a role with two secondary roles as nobody every did that before, plus the fact that everyone said lover sucks and is cursed in the past, I didn't accept it lel, so gave them the best chance they could have but also not oply chances were it's impossible to kill them, that's why we thought SK was the best one to be lover with, because if we putted with recruiter red traitor mafia and lover with orange, then the chance of them dying were soo low and it couldn't make sense to put both lover in the same team.
Maybe we should have added threesome or an other SK or SS ...we just didn't expect SK to die that early or just kept the lover in mafias maybe.
Plus I had hopes that lover this game trusted each other and depended unlike the past where I heard some..interesting thing of what happen to lover
After all the Killer had no one to turn to but his partner this time......

Lover really need an update, remind me why they always die so early and why beauty wasn't accepted where it could fix some problems with lover unfair chances

You can also say that lover was sth to bring balance to recruiter openness being a traitor
Sad to see SK dying and never recruiting someone, it was the special ability I was most excited for.
Ok I was excited about everything related to the SK and recruiter just to see taku crush all my dreams

Finally as for the apprentice, I simply really liked the role and the fact that you can choose what you want, decide with what u need at the time.

That April fools special was really fun to make especially the avys, had a lot of fun making them (and thanks @Valhalla777 for the normal avy and the borders for the memes don't think it could be possible without you)

I think I said everything...oh yea jesus description need to be fixed as it says "whenever thye get killed they come back" that's op as hell.
And that mafia more than town or TP need more roles for variation, mafia roles really don't have much to work with especially now that apprentice is being tested, there need to be more roles for apprentice to have and shine more. @James Rye mr specialist in making roles

Ah that always happens btw, some hosting curse that things most of the time don‘t go the way you wanted them. Especially if you focus on specific roles or interactions, they won‘t happen.

Just so we're clear about Desin: he stared that DD's target on him could explain the right outcome (deaths). When asked what did he mean with that, he disappeared. He was back in the forum after he was asked about it. I took it as if he decided to not reply to the questions. That's good enough for me to vote him, considering the current other options.

Thanks for the game @Hosts o/ It was quite fun with the whole ultimate mechanic (it was an idea I had in mind for a future game damn youuu )
It was also refreshing to play a daytime role that could confirm itself, made my game much less stressing, that + having an active town made the dayphases a joy to play, I legit had fun discussing ingame stuff for once in a while.


As for the Game Balance, I still think the Mafia was definitely too weak this time around.
Not trying to detract town's win at all, it was deserved, but 7 + 1 separated antitowns against 18 townies was quite the overkill for them.

Just think about it, Town lynched 2 mafias and 5 townies (so, on paper, town didn't really play that well) and yet the advantage that town had over mafia at the end was absolute. I was so paranoid in the last phases of the game precisely because I couldn't stop thinking "This is way too easy, it can't be that easy, we have to be missing something" but in the end Mafia was just weak... with powerful roles and ults yeah, but that alone wasn't enough to fight against a huge mass of townies with lots of self-confirming roles, masons, a freeman that could neutralize his role... fight the other mafia and a Serial Killer that would surely hunt at least one of the scummy fellas.

On the Serial Killer, I understand that you wanted to make an interesting mechanic with the Recruiting Mason that could eventually get into the Red team but, to be fair, Gryffindor had almost zero chances of winning this. The evil Mason Recruiter was condemned to die at some point of the game, either at the hands of oranges or at the hands of Town when figured out, so Gryff was also doomed from the start.
I expected at least a Threesome Candidate to be somewhere, so he had a escape route, but there wasn't so the SK wasn't anything beyond a player that "balances the game at will, but cannot win" which is kind of sad :/


Those issues aside, the role list was amusing and refreshing.
I liked the idea of No Dets, Town having to squeeze their brains and figure out the scum without them. That combined with the use of ultimates made for a great experience in terms of gameplay for townies, specially the passive ones, making each decision game changing, loved it.
The April Fools mechanic was brilliant, it was surprisingly awesome and epic, I hope I can see it again some other time
