Did you listen to their last album? It came out in June

He did an IG Live from the MV set for this Maxis song and a bit of it played in the background, it sounds pretty good.

As far as the Japanese debut goes, a lot of the same people who worked on WOW have credits on Hula Hoop so that's promising too.

Still don't know if they're going to promote both songs equally or not. StarSeed has Japanese composers behind it while Hula Hoop doesn't. They call the album double-A side but not sure what that will mean in modern context. The product description seems to suggest StarSeed will have an MV, but not sure about Hula Hoop, it only mentions a "making of" segment.

So, kinda expected Hula Hoop to have a more familiar Kpop-ish sound along with something different. Which makes sense, it's basically the same three people who worked on Dun Dun Dance by OhMyGirl. While StarSeed is just full-on JPOP. It really reminds me of Perfume and some Vocaloid songs. Makes sense when the composer wrote for LoveLive. Anyways, seems to be doing well as a prelease for the MV and physical release next month.



Seems like the Olympic references for &'s initial teasers are kind of continued here. The hula hoops also reminiscent of the Olympic rings. Also leading with Hyunjin is a nice touch since her solo was based in Japan.
