Anime HxH MadHouse Anime Discussion! (Use Spoilers for safety...)

I have decided to make a Anime-Thread for the new Anime of HxH, which will be started in fall.

So, here is some confirmed information about the new HxH-Anime:

HXH anime on Nippon Television.

Start Date: 2nd October 2011

Start Time: 11:55 (GMT+9)

Here is some "questions" about the anime, which we should get new information this week:

- It is a remake of the old TV-Series ? *confirmed*
- it is a continuation from the OVAs ? *busted*
- Who will be in the anime-stuff of HxH-Anime ? ( probably confirmed already, s. o. ) *busted*

The first new Information about new HxH-Anime !!!

According to Mainichi, the new Hunter x Hunter anime will start on October 2nd. Madhouse Studios will remake it from the beginning of the manga. The production staff and the voice cast are renewed. Nihon TV prepared a new programming block for the new anime at 10:55 am on Sundays.

^ Yeah actually when Hisoka did his litte thing at the end gave me the "chills" you can say. Even though it was only for half a second it did a lot.

After watching the episode again, Chrollo stole it for me. He's just to badass. He deducts Uvo's possible weaknesses perfectly. He adapts to any situation when necessary and Uvo being late told him a lot of what might have happened. Uvo is the most punctual of all the PT members. There's a reason why Chrollo is called Danchou.....This episode proves it.

I like how Uvogin doesn't escape. No rage boost. No clever tricks. No friends to save the day. Nothing. He just dies. But he stood his ground. A true soldier.

How many times do you see that in other shonen?

I like how Uvogin doesn't escape. No rage boost. No clever tricks. No friends to save the day. Nothing. He just dies. But he stood his ground. A true soldier.

How many times do you see that in other shonen?

Also ,he didn't betray his friends by telling their whereabouts and rather sacrifice his life instead.I also really like the way that he accepted his death.Usually in shounen manga ,when the villain is about to die ,he/she always spurts a lot of nonsense.Like you say ,he just stood his ground.

After reading shinobi comparison of both version of the anime ,madhouse definitely did a better job with the fight .Uvogin's death was done much better.

Yeah, Uvogin is an honorable man (well except for the killing and stealing).

I like how this is emphasized when Franklin mentions that Uvo is stronger when he is fighting alongside someone/protecting others (i.e. Nobunaga). Damn... I might shed a tear when Nobu cries for his good friend.

But I was referring more to the trap actually working.

It will be interesting seeing how the mood of the phantom troupe changes from the big happy family who kills for the heck of it...To...well...we'll see.

Ok here's how I think the episode should go

Before the opening credits we get Killua talking about Silva warning about the troupe

Departure

They can skip the part where Gon, Leorio and Killua have little luck finding the Troupe.
However I am expecting a Leorio knife fight and a Hisoka massacre as a result, Madhouse. :P...Please.

Then Gon decides to pawn his hunter license (this part needs some GAR music like "Try Your Luck". )

I suspect they'll skip the getting the catalog from Southernbees or greatly shorten the scene.
I do however want to see Southernbees itself.

I hope we get the crowd scenes. Yorknew should feel like a big city.

Then silent auction bazaar and rest of chapter 85

They can also skip the part where Gon and Killua try to register for an auction but are too late. Or make it short.

Shalnark seems like the family guy of the Troupe. I didn't actually notice that HxH made a point to show how worried he was until you guys pointed it out. Then looking back at the earlier scenes with him, it really seems like he's the happy, family guy who wants to keep everyone together or something. Haha, maybe I'm just reading between the lines too much.

They better not screw up the next episode.

Kinda agree with that part.The thing with Shalnark , when I saw him ,he didn't strike me as a thief,a murderer.He seem to be a happy go lucky ,smart,naive guy.But as the arc progress,you can actually see the darker side of him ,which is pretty interesting.
I think this image sum up his personality.

Zepile is voiced by Masami Kikuchi who I beileve did Wing in the old anime. Not to bash Toshihiko Seki, but It makes me wonder why they didn't just get Kikuchi back to reprise his role? Weird.
