As it is a Theory it could have spoilers below, if not up to date on reading, you have been warned.
So I was thinking of something and I got here with this theory.
We know that some of the noble bloodlines have some traits that make them special.
The Ackermans has great physical and fighting power (Levi, Kenny, Mikasa).

And now the Reiss:
Everyone might remember in the begining how much Christa\Historia wishes everyone to think that she was a good person and through the story it indeed happened with many of the characteres referring to her as a Godess. Even Reiner had kinda of a crush on her and I say "even" here, cos you know Reiner agenda, right?
Ok, I know it is not much to sustain my theory, that is:
The Reiss bloodline is the one who can "control" humans and by "control", I mean like suggestion. Something that depends on the will of its bearer.
Now, follow me:
Do you remember when Historia asks Erwin to say to the people that she was the one who killed half-baked-titan-Rod?
And then, what happened? She ended up really killing it.
So let me ask you: Did she? Did she killed Titan Rod?
Or did she suggest Erwin and maybe someone else to think she did?
And if those who saw it think she did, then she did, right?
A lie told a thousand times becomes the truth, isn't the saying?
I'm not saying that she's is doing it on purpose, I think she isn't.
It also could have something to do with the importance of the coordinate being into the Reiss bloodline, maybe amplifying it in order to mass alter memory.
What do you guys think?
