Help on Penguin design

im working on a linux pengiun i want something midevil gothic looking w/ a large curving sycthe this is what i came up w/ but as u can see... it sucks bloody dick in a bucket

anyone have any kinda tips or ideas to make this better in any way?

I would tell you to sketch it out maybe... ummm take a few midevil pictures and a few pic of linx pengiun and go from there... nothing more i can tell ya off the top of my head than just keep trying and sketching till ya find what ya like

Hm....maybe you should sketch it out, like what jester said. And google up some references. Try taking multiple pics of scythes, and probably make up your own from it. XD
