Anyone changed their mind about lineups?
I think we cannot talk about it here yet.Anyone changed their mind about lineups?
Now, we can talk about it.Anyone changed their mind about lineups?
You are predicting Spain to be down 1-2 agaisnt Japan?!I think actually an interesting twist would be
S3 - Japan loss
D2 - Japan close win (Fuji or Kintarou both need a win).
S2 - postponed. Missing players, Ryoma and Ryoga play in the bathroom offscreen Ryoga wins.
D1 - (initially I thought Third match would just be the single moving up, Medandore could play to crush 3-0. BUT if Doubles is moving up instead this is cool) Japan win because again Kintarou and Fuji both need their shine.
S1 - Everyone thinks Tokugawa wins. It can even be setup that Tokugawa wins and Japan is happy for the 3-1, but somehow Medandore wins.
S2 - Ryoma win.
I agree. Most of us see it being 2-0 easy for Spain. With Japan hopeful reverse sweep, but I think that is played out.You are predicting Spain to be down 1-2 agaisnt Japan?!
And then Medanore will save the day for Spain.
Setupping Ryoga VS Ryoma Finale.
Hmmmm. Interesting.
But imo, I just cant imagine Spain being down 1-2. But if that will make Medanore Beat Toku, I am open to it. Lol.
The Most logical to do is for Spain to lead 2-0. To Show their dominance.I agree. Most of us see it being 2-0 easy for Spain. With Japan hopeful reverse sweep, but I think that is played out.
Winning both doubles would give Japan more wins, although it means Toku loses every time. He can have a Yukimura like story where he still has a good ending. (Crying for Yuki now)
Did Seigak have an important game where they won both doubles and lost both singles.
I'm bored of 0-2 lead in final though. Happen both times with Rikkai. Mixing it up like Germany is way better. The Most logical to do is for Spain to lead 2-0. To Show their dominance.
Or at least alternate wins so 1-1, which makes succeeding matches more unptedictable.
Spain won all their matches all the way here. Literally all 3-0s. Them being down 0-2 at the start is next to impossible.
So, 1-1-1-1-1I'm bored of 0-2 lead in final though. Happen both times with Rikkai. Mixing it up like Germany is way better.
Japan: why don't we just win the first two matches as well. Duh!I'm bored of 0-2 lead in final though. Happen both times with Rikkai. Mixing it up like Germany is way better.
Lol. 0% happening imo.Japan: why don't we just win the first two matches as well. Duh!
Interesting.
I would have loved if Yuki won vs Tezuka but definitely Tezuka needed that win to remain as the strongest Mser and to finally beat a player stronger than Sanada and Atobe.Interesting.
Konomi thought of a scenario where Yuki won against Tezuka. But decided against it.
Also, Duke/Niou VS Bismarck/Siegfried???
Seems like Byodouin VS Volk were the only one constant.
Yeah.I would have loved if Yuki won vs Tezuka but definitely Tezuka needed that win to remain as the strongest Mser and to finally beat a player stronger than Sanada and Atobe.
That’s insane if it’s true, but what was Konomi thinking lol back then. Current Atobe stands a much better chance.Yeah.
And what???
Konomi considered Atobe to play against QP???
I cannot photo translate it, just read on twitter comments. Maybe not true
Apparently, Kite/Ohmagari was considered too for D2. (Agains just translating twitter comments. So might not b accurate)That’s insane if it’s true, but what was Konomi thinking lol back then. Current Atobe stands a much better chance.

Konomi in his draft haveOni/Kintarou would be awesome as heck to see.
Honestly though beside Tezuka beating Yukimura and Byoudonin beating Volk, I can see the other 3 matches going either way (Even Oni beating QP doesn't feel that far fetch)

So, Konomi is really focusing on Kintarou to be a doubles specialist.Oni/Kintarou would be awesome as heck to see.
