I guess you would like that when Drakken Joe is in Combat:
He is something like the Father of Fullmetal Achemist and Zero by Fairy Tail.

His fightings tyle. he seems to be a hand to hand combat person giving with just one kick he could shatter teeth in someone mouth altough the glass bottle also helped. Since his Ether Gear suggest he can change types of metal, hence his Alchemy name, then maybe he is covered in metal like hsirt that he has changed into a light density and only hardens when he figths. In a way you could say he wields an armor, but thats not apperant utnil you fight him.
