我的英语水平不如国外的朋友，有什么不对的地方请谅解哈。我同时打字中文英文效果还不错。
这里好像有不少华人血统的朋友，中文交流障碍应该不大，网络是没有国界的，行遍天下，四海皆兄弟。

我有關於食的問題，我喜歡食，去中國城時經常看見的食物味道也很濃烈。辛辣的食物及salty食物????反而較少看到甜的食物。我不太食辛辣，有一次我的上海朋友帶我去嘗試四川火鍋，真的很麻辣lol
還有中國的人是不是人人也很懂得廚藝，我很多中國朋友也是自己煮食，而且煮調的時候很多煙

Haha, I can speak and listen fluently since I'm Chinese, but I'm not so good at writing and a little better at reading.

Naruhodo, i see, your ancestor is from Guangdong, in the earlier time Cantonese was a popular chinese language in USA, but mandarin is spoken more and more now, if you are young, don't worry about if you can handle chinese mandarin smartly, it is easy, as long as you insist on say with chinese friend that is the better effect.
Welcome you also speak Cantonese here, i can read a little and everyone will learn it, with best regard!

对，中国菜本来是油多烟多味道浓的，为了做得更好吃，西方菜相对简单淡薄，不过不是所有的中国菜这样浓烈的，而且不一定非烧不可，也有甜的食物，比如我家的凉豆腐（cold tofu）。只要加糖或酱油榨菜就行了，不需要加热，我喜欢吃糖豆腐，就是加糖拌来拌去，做成豆腐浆的样子；我喜欢吃的糖番茄炒蛋(tomato omelette)，放些油烧番茄切片，然后放蛋浆一起勺来勺去，不断地放些水，最后加糖行了，也许这个做法对西方人来说有些复杂，可以参考制作网站 http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/tuscan_scrambled_eggs/

我家是浙江省，传统做菜味道更淡点，其他省有差异，何况同一省地区不一样，我家特点是豆腐包子 小笼包子 陈氏醋鸭 绍兴黄酒 等等，其实我也不太会做菜，由于工作，我没有那么多时间做菜，一般用电磁锅煮点吃了。我也不太喜欢吃麻辣，四川火锅好变态，毕竟中国大菜多，我家不代表全国，你可以吃传统中国菜代表饺子（dumpling），很好吃，只要煮水就做完了，不用担心油烟的问题。时间有点忙，我没空写英文。对了，你是西方人血统的吗？

呵呵， 3Q是3Q，是我们国内网络很早流行的用语了，很老了，你的中国朋友很久没回国了吧
3的中文发音当然是san， Q的中文发音在[k]和[tʃ]之间, 但更接近[tʃ], Q的英文发音就是[k]
外国人掌握中文发音比较难，要是通过这一关，学中文变得简单多了，中文文法和英文差不多了。

I'm back guys. Sorry for not typing in chinese, but I don't know how. So I'm back for pretty much the same reason: the dish I order, the egg and beef on rice, that I pronounce gwa tan ow yo fan. One of two things is happening, either I'm getting better at pronouncing the dishes name, or the waiters know me by now and know what I'm referring to regardless of how off I am. So, I bring a picture this time:

looks gross, right? When I first saw it I got on my friends case for ordering it and kept making puking sounds. She got me to taste it and I was hooked. So, how do you pronounce the name of this dish? in phonetic spelling, please?

It looks yum!! But it looks slightly different from wō dàn niú ròu fàn.
Have u tried that wō dàn niú ròu fàn (well, I searched from yahoo)

that's definitely not the dish, but one time when I tried asking for the one I pictured, I got that instead. Minced meat something I think it was. The one you linked has other stuff, the one I pictured is just rice, egg, and beef (with scallions as garnish).

Hi, friend, i see the picture of wo dan niu rou fan, i think of i like eating omelette with minced pork (rou mo zheng dan),
but i seldom eat beef and egg mixed food, this kind of food is strange to me, i prefer pork than beef

I've always wondered how to type "nu" as in 女 using pinyin (Microsoft IME). I've been studying Chinese for almost 4 years already (although not very diligently), but I've never discovered how to do it.

Also, how are the terms "Raw" and "Edited Manga" translated in Chinese?

there is no specific word for them coz people would commonly use slang to say
這兩詞是我們大多會用俗語去形容，網上大多人會用"生肉"及"熟肉"來表示，

"raw meat" to represent "Raw" meaning 生肉
"cooked meat" for "Edited Manga" 熟肉

of course u can still use some formal words like...
"raw" (1)原圖、(2)未修圖
"Edited Manga" (1)漢化、(2)已修圖及翻譯

anway I prefer (1) to (2).

for the typing problem, I wish someone else can help u.

Hi bedsidelight, it should be "nv" as 女, because i never use Microsoft IME Chinese input, i am used to type Chinese by sougou or shuangpin Chinese input instead of IME, sougou can remember what words you have typed, also type traditional Chinese; shuangpin can show second word automatically when you type first word

"Raw" and "Edited Manga" translated in Chinese
"Raw" is considered as 图片源 better in manga.
"Edited Manga", if in Chinese, it said that 汉化版 or 中文版, if in English, it said that 英文版(you may confuse original English edition comic with English Edited Manga of Japanese manga, but in general we meet “火影忍者第1卷英文版” and know it is English Edited Manga of Japanese manga Naruto Volume 1 not original English comic, it is easily understandable(通俗易懂).
