Well, as some of you maybe heard of, 11/05/2016 Brazilian president Dilma Roussef was put away from presidence for 180 days as the impeachment process runs its course.

I just want to know what is being said of the whole thing whereverer you guys are from (or if any thing is being said), an outside view of things.

Feel free to ask questions too

Well, in germany you didnt hear that much about it.
The two big online newspapers had several articles about it over time, but by now, the topic is gone.
If something happens, there is another article, but that's about it.

I don't think germans are terribly invested into southern american politics and with the migrant crisis, turkey, russia, ukraine and soccer, there are simply enough topics to fill the blanks.

Personally, i find it interesting tho.
I do not know much about brazilian politics, but tbh, i would assume that what is to come is not better than what was before.
Not with a change like that.

Well, I am a bit closer to Brasil so I got to hear a fair bit. On a personal level I am thrilled that she got removed. Her wave of socialist populism has gone long enough and her being removed makes sense with what is happening in other countries regarding their own equivalent so called "socialists". Now, I am not very familiar with the guy who took over after her but it does seem like he is his own variety of spectacular asshole and his choice for cabinet members were somewhere between unnerving and laughable (such as the environmental minister who owns companies in favor of deforestation). I guess only time will tell but it is kinda hard to imagine that there are any real efforts going on to make the government less corrupt in the long term even with roussef gone.

As a brazillian too, I am very curious about the way North America and European media are treating the political stuff thats happening here.

Unfortunately i have to say that europe and the US are too absorbed in their own issues to care much about any other topic.

Well, we have a chance to change or president again, because the guy was caught doing things that we wouldn't say that fits for a president...

So, is any coverage of our new crisis?
