The government that permitted Fusa’s human trafficking trade was criticized worldwide.

―　スラムの住人達は不当な負債から解放された
The residents of the slums were freed of their unjustified debts.

―　もちろん搾取され使い捨てられる人間がこの世からいなくなったわけじゃない
Of course, this didn’t mean that there were no more slaves in this world.
奴隷の歴史は人間の歴史と同じくらい長いらしい
The history of slavery has been around as long as the history of mankind.

―　ゾルの集めた莫大な賞金の大半はフーサに巻き上げられていたが
Most of the large amount of bounty money Zol had collected was taken by Fusa,
そのうちの戻って来た金はスラムの住人に分け与えられた
but some of the money was returned and then distributed to the slums’ residents.

―　彼らはその金を元手に新しい生活を始めるか
Some used that money to build new lives for themselves,

―　家族の待つ国へと帰って行った
while some used that money to return to their homelands where their families were waiting.
